Just chillin,’ or taking a break, is not an easy thing for most moms to do. But Reinventing Yourself in 2015 is absolutely about learning how to master the fine art of Learning How to Take a Break while learning to take care of ourselves.
Many of us are so busy these days that we don’t even know the true meaning of rest. The truth is that most of us don’t know how to relax. Life has kept us in high gear for so long that slowing down is a foreign concept. We relate constant movement to “productivity” and when we are not engaged in an activity or task, we don’t know what to do with ourselves! Nervousness and fidgeting sets in because we are not texting on our mobile phone, tweeting to our customers, driving the kids to a rehearsal or sports practice or scheduling car repairs and carpet cleanings.
Just like a good employer gives his/her staff a 15-minute break twice day, your hectic life needs to have scheduled down times as well. Rest, relax and Live Life Easier and Healthier!
Taking a break” can be as simple as taking 15 minute break, or engaging in full weekend of FUN!
