3/18/2020 ~ Weekly Publisher Note

By Jodi Lorence, Macaroni Kid Publisher March 18, 2020

Thinking of you all as we are all trying to adjust to the everchanging new normal. It is important that while we are keeping a listening ear on the latest important updates on the COVID-19 pandemic that we also take a break to take care of ourselves and your family. As parents this is all so overwhelming but we all have to understand that our kids are watching our reactions and learning from us. How we react to the ongoing pandemic will result in either their feelings of hysteria or sense of calmness. I chose to be calm and comply with the new normal until we hear otherwise. Staying healthy, staying home, taking this time to be with my family, and following what we are learning each day is my top priority. We are all in this together. Blessings to you all as you navigate our lives around this pandemic! We can do this!

Coronavirus Update!

We are doing our best to stay on top of event cancellations.

Please check the venue for event updates before heading out. Don't forget to explore our Articles and Guides to Find Your Family Fun! I have not removed events from the calendar but please know we will stay focused on updating events once we are told that it is safe to bring your kids and families out to events again. It is important that we follow the guidelines set out by our government officials. Here is a great handwashing video to help prevent diseases like the Coronavirus. Here is a link to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention for information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and more at Whitehouse.gov and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Thanks for your support as we continue to stay focused on our families while providing you with at home activities to use as a resource if you are looking for iways to fill your days at home with the kids.

I will be sharing resources on our Facebook Page too so be sure to check it out.

Stay healthy,
