11/9/2020 ~ Weekly Publisher Note

By Jodi Lorence, Macaroni Kid Publisher November 9, 2020

Welcome Friends,

I hope you were all able to get outdoors and enjoy the weather this past weekend. Sunday was windy but the temperature was perfect. We could still get outside and complete the rest of the fall jobs that needed to be done before it gets colder and the snow falls. I am always in awe at the amount of leaves that fall in our yard and the number of times it takes to get them picked up. Our yard has many many trees and while they are beautiful and provide great shade they are such a mess to clean up. I guess all part of living in MInnesota.

How are you all managing your kids and their schooling. I give you all so much credit for having to adjust your plans to accommodate the uncertainty of this virus. Life was so much easier when that wasn't on our minds 24/7 wasn't it? I have decided that the word PIVOT pretty much sums up the majority of 2020. Everyone has had to make changes and adjustments to their lives, businesses, schedules, etc. to try and maintain some sense of normalcy. We have never faced anything that we can't do and for that I am so proud of all of us. We just keep trying to find a new way. So, find some time this week to put your feet up, grab your favorite beverage and give yourself a much needed break.

Have a wonderful week.

without a change in vision."

Coronavirus Update!

We are doing our best to stay on top of event cancellations.

Please check the venue for event updates before heading out. Don't forget to explore our Articles and Guides to Find Your Family Fun! I have removed events from the calendar but please know we will stay focused on updating events once we are told that it is safe to bring your kids and families out to events again. It is important that we follow the guidelines set out by our government officials. Here is a great handwashing video to help prevent diseases like the Coronavirus. Here is a link to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention for information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and more at Whitehouse.gov and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Thanks for your support as we continue to stay focused on our families while providing you with at home activities to use as a resource if you are looking for ways to fill your days at home with the kids.

I will be sharing resources on our Facebook Page too so be sure to check it out.

Stay healthy and Have a great week!
