Welcome Friends,
As I sit here and peer through the window at the falling snow I realize that we have so much to be thankful for even though 2020 has been the most upsetting year for most of us. The pandemic has gotten to many of us and we just want a new start. Hopefully 2021 will bring that to us. Looking back I do realize that there are silver linings in the haze of the year. As a family we have had so much time to spend together. From playing games as a family, putting puzzles together, family movie nights, eating meals together, banding together to take care of each other, to be our sounding board when we are so upset about the stay-at-home orders that we are ready to lose it, we have had time to go for walks together, time to enjoy the outdoors, to realize how difficult it is to be a teacher to our children, and so much more. While it hasn't all been a piece of cake and to some of us downright depressing.
I have gotten through it by trying to find the silver linings. I have found that while the months are long, we have made it thus far and will continue to do so. For those of you who have lost loved ones to the virus or for any other reason. I am truly sorry for you and your family. It has been hard to not see our friends and family but we will cherish the times we have in the future with them. It has been difficult throught the months of this pandemic with the stay at home orders, the inability to see our loved ones in a senior home, the lack of travel, closures of events, the closing of our favorite restaurants, and the list goes on. We could have either dwelled on the negative or find the silver linings that we have had to dig deep at times to find. There is hope in the New Year. Wishing you and your family all the best as we move into the new year. Bring on 2021! ~Jodi L

Coronavirus Update!
We are doing our best to stay on top of event cancellations.
Please check the venue for event updates before heading out. Don't forget to explore our Articles and Guides to Find Your Family Fun! I have removed events from the calendar but please know we will stay focused on updating events once we are told that it is safe to bring your kids and families out to events again. It is important that we follow the guidelines set out by our government officials. Here is a great handwashing video to help prevent diseases like the Coronavirus. Here is a link to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention for information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and more at Whitehouse.gov and the Minnesota Department of Health.
Thanks for your support as we continue to stay focused on our families while providing you with at home activities to use as a resource if you are looking for ways to fill your days at home with the kids.
I will be sharing resources on our Facebook Page too so be sure to check it out.
Stay healthy and Have a great week Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
