Getting outdoors in the winter is such a great way to break the monotony of indoor Covid distancing. Dress up in warm clothes and come out to experience some of the wonderful events in our community. Below are a few events to put on your calendar to enjoy with your families.

Story Walks in the Parks

Kerber Park (9095 Elm Creek Blvd., Maple Grove, MN 55369)

The Night Tree by Eve Bunting follows a young boy and his family on a moonlit evening walk in the forest, as they decorate their favorite tree with delicious treats for the animals of the woods.

Wonders of Winter

Central Park

February 20, 2021 from 1:00-4:00pm

Join us to celebrate all the wonderful outdoor activities that Minnesota has to offer during the winter! We’ll be out at Central Park on Saturday, February 20 from 1:00-4:00pm to celebrate our 4th annual Wonders of Winter event. Enjoy free outdoor activities, like a scavenger hunt, ice luminaries, and more!

Join us this winter for snowshoe explore days! We have 17 pairs of snowshoes free for use, available snowshoes sizes are 30lbs and up. We hope to see you at the parks!
